What Happened to the Baby Boomers Market?

The baby boomers population was born between 1946 and 1964; therefore the baby boomers are between the ages of 44 to 62.

As you can see, there is almost 20 years difference between the younger boomers and the older boomers. When the older boomers were buying real estate in the 1970’s, obviously, the younger ones were still in school.

As the boomers are growing older as a group, however, their differences in age is not so obvious anymore, and this is why!

In 1976 for example, boomers born from 1946 to 1956 were between the ages of 20 and 30 years old, and were buying real estate, that is why the real estate business was experiencing a never seen before raise around those years. They are not crowding the real estate business or schools anymore, but they are actually the perfect candidates for one and the same area of business.

The market I am talking about is the health and wellness market. People in their 40’s as much as people in their 60’s are thinking about staying and feeling younger and healthy.

So the point is; if you are thinking about working for yourself, changing careers, looking for a new business venture, investing money or just making extra cash, you should look into the health and nutrition, anti-aging, and wellness areas.

Supplement nutrition products, anti-aging creams, energy drinks and the like, are hot markets these days. Don’t ever under estimate the baby boomers market which today more than ever still is the biggest market.
