Is Your Marketing Campaign Appealing?
Marketing campaigns can’t survive if they don’t attract customers. Everyday there are more than three thousand marketing messages reaching out to the customers and it is really one gigantic competition when one expects to be recognized among the crowd. Thus the question, Is Your Marketing Campaign Appealing?
Your ad or article should connect with the customer and influence his mind. Strong, original, and exciting content is the key factor that your message should have. The customer should feel empowered and should think of taking some action right away. For example, Nike’s catch line is “Just Do It” and is a line that has such great impact on the minds of people that they use it in casual conversation referring to things other than Nike. It is obvious that by adding certain features, the marketing appeal can be multiplied.
Scientists agree that using visuals to help a person grasp an idea is the best option compared to other means. As one famous saying goes “A picture speaks a thousand words.” So the best bet is to add visuals to promote any marketing project. Visuals can be anything such as pictures, animations, or graphics. It does wonders by placing a picture of a representative and the products from the company’s website. This can also strengthen the relationship you have with the customer. You are “showing” them, not just telling.
Different colors also depict different types of emotions. Messages can be delivered to people using colors and meaning can be added to it. Red and blue are colors that attract aggressive shoppers, where yellow is a color that attracts the attention of the on lookers. Green reflects health, money and nourishment, so it can be used in food advertisement. Black shows strength and power and is used by Jaguar on their website background and advertisement. Wealth and royalty is shown with purple. Keep in mind that colors should be carefully played with as too much can be distracting. Professional service can be sought when selecting colors for business cards, website font, website background, logo, etc. On websites, animated fonts can be added which change colors as well as graphics that move.
There are lots of options available when thinking of what technology to use. The good news is that most of the options can be found for cheap and are easy to use. Audio and video are phenomenal for attracting attention. When visiting the Pepsi homepage, one is greeted with energetic music, which attracts the younger crowd instantly. The best approach is a welcome message, introduction video, and testimonials which bring the product to life. Hearing a voice can be very powerful which helps build a rapport immediately with the visitor. An example is the Adidas website which opens with a video that truly fits their punch line, “Impossible Is Nothing.” Today, customers want more and expect their needs to be met. If someone is thinking of buying exercise equipment, and that is the product you are selling, don’t just say that the machine has display, automatic incline, etc., show them as well. People need extra motivation so be sure to convey exactly why the customer should use the product.
Uniqueness is the biggest key factor. This is not only true for the products and services offered but, the marketing campaign as well. Not only will the effort be appreciated, the impression will be everlasting. Once you gain the faith of customers, they will be like a free walking advertisement and will spread the word to their friends and acquaintances. In the long run, there is no better advertisement.
